After months (7 to be exact) of discussions with both provincial and federal regulators, the folks at Forked River have finally persevered in securing our authorization to relocate our on-site retail store to unit 4 of our building.
We have been told that this is a precedent setting decision; Forked River, paving the way for brewers across the province! We hope that, in the future, other brewers will have an easier time with their own expansions that mimic our own situation.
What does this mean for you, our fabulous customers and fans? It means we are planning a party! While the store will officially open Wednesday, October 28th, our grand opening for the store will be October 31st. We are planning plenty of surprises, you won't want to miss it!

FORKED RIVER SUCCEEDS IN GETTING RETAIL STORE RELOCATED
Grand Opening of New Store on Saturday, October 31st
London, Ontario, October 25th, 2015
Forked River Brewing Company announces success in getting authorization from AGCO to open a relocated retail store at Unit 4 of 45 Pacific Court. The Company will be hosting a grand opening on Saturday, October 31st from 11am to 4pm to celebrate our collective efforts.
“This success would not have been possible without the support of our customers, city councillors, the mayor, and local MPPs, who have petitioned on our behalf” says David Reed, co-owner of Forked River
Brewing. Over 3600 individuals signed Forked River’s online petition on change.org. Resolution of the retail store relocation issue involved discussions with both provincial and federal government agencies over the past 7 months.
After recently expanding fermentation capacity by 150%, the relocation of the retail store will free up valuable space for Forked River’s upcoming bottling line upgrade. “We have built a lot of momentum in
LCBO stores with our seasonal offerings and we keep bringing on more staff on to meet demand in more communities” says Andrew Peters, co-owner of Forked River Brewing. Forked River has hired 4 individuals this year and expects to hire 2 more before the end of the year.
