Funky and fresh, this farmhouse blonde ale has been perfecting itself in VQA chardonnay barrels for over a year. Hansel pours with a lightly hazy, golden hue and a bright, white, foam cap. Aromas of white grape and cereal notes are an easy giveaway of the long ageing on VQA white wine barrels. The pallet takes a quick hit of bright acid, sour gummies, fuzzy peach candies, lychee and mangosteen - finishing with a light funk and lingering acidic, lightly tannic notes. Certainly, a beer worth venturing into the deep dark woods for!
